Again, I will try to give you short and clear information about an important issue. Does it cost to set up a sole proprietorship, and if so, how much?
You can establish companies known as sole proprietorships in Turkey yourself through the e-government. As I said, there is no cost to set up a sole proprietorship. However, after establishing the company, if you need to obtain an electronic signature due to the requirements of the industry you are subject to (such as being a courier with a sole proprietorship), this can be considered a cost. Again, it will be necessary to take a signature statement of your person from the notary public and report it to the tax office. However, in order to submit your company’s declarations, you may need to agree with a financial advisor and issue a power of attorney for general accounting transactions from a notary public.
For sole proprietorship establishments of foreigners, first of all, a potential tax identification number should be obtained, if there is only a passport, a different process will be followed, and if there is a residence permit, that is, a foreign identity number starting with 99, an e-government password should be obtained through this number, and there will be no problem when the remaining transactions are done as described above by logging into the e-state.
In short, when you want to establish a sole proprietorship, there is no cost to establish a sole proprietorship , except for a few transactions to be made at the notary public or obtaining an electronic signature if necessary.
