Obtaining a Residence Permit

Documents required for a residence permit:

1. Application Form

The form showing that the application for a Residence Permit has been made must be signed by the applicant or his/her legal representative and submitted to the Migration Administration.

2. Copy of Passport

Copy of passport

3. Biometric Photo

4 biometric photographs must be taken in front of a white background.

4. Declaration of Financial Possibility

A statement showing that you have the appropriate financial means to stay in Turkey within the requested period

5. Health Insurance

A health insurance that covers the period for which you have requested a stay, one of the following will be considered sufficient for this:

  • Up-to-date provision document obtained from SSI
  • Application to SSI to have General Health Insurance (electronically signed or stamped sealed) document
  • Insurance from Private Insurance Institutions

In general, these are the documents that must be submitted to the Migration Management after the application.
