Residence permits in Turkey can be issued in many ways such as short-term, long-term, student, family, humanitarian residence. Documents required for residence permit in Turkey:

1. Applicant Form

The form showing that an application has been made for a Residence Permit must be signed by the applicant or his/her legal representative and submitted to the Migration Management.

2. Photocopy of Passport

3. Biometric Photograph

Biometric 4 photographs must be taken in front of a white background.

4. Financial Statement

A statement showing that you have the appropriate financial means to stay in Turkey within the requested period

5. Health Insurance

Health insurance covering the length of time you have requested for the stay, one of the following will suffice for this:

  • Up-to-date provision document obtained from SGK
  • A document (electronic signed or stamped) application made to SSI to have a General Health Insurance
  • Insurance from Private Insurance Institutions

In general, these are the documents that must be submitted to the Immigration Administration after the application.
